…and it could have been much worse. I’m sure it comes as little surprise that I’m not a huge fan of the squatty potty. With one exception, when riding on a train in India they are safer. But I wasn’t riding on a train, I was using one in the home I’m renting a room from. I chose the room with it’s own bathroom because I wanted to be able to control the amount of water on the floor. I also wanted to be able to leave my roll of TP out and not have to worry about it becoming wet. If you need further explanation, I can give it, but I won’t at this point. ☺
The other night, as I was taking care of business, I dropped my roll into the squatty. Of course, as Murphy’s Law would have it (or it could rightly be argued Newton’s Law) the toilet paper dropped from my hand and made itself right down into the hole! I could see it in there and knew that the flush would not do anything for the cardboard roll. I used my new toilet brush handle to scoop it out, though all the paper was reluctant to follow. Ha! Well, there wasn’t much else I could do, except Praise the Lord that it wasn’t my last roll. And after a few flushes there is no evidence that it ever happened. Ah, it’s always good to be able to laugh.
